Steven Storey was just simply a great bloke. Fantastic husband, execeptional father, doting grandad.
Sadly as the site says taken too soon. He died suddenly in a fishing boat accident at Loch Watten,
Caithness. He died doing the sport he loved only his family came before a fly fishing trip.
Steven always had a smile on his face and a "how are ya?" for everyone.
You always had time for everyone and that showed in the crowds at your day, and the dance and the
match. You will never realise how you touched the lives of so many ,so unselflessly and I am proud
to have had you as a brother. We celebrated your life even though the gap you have left is huge.
"OUR STEVEN"
You were with us oh so briefly,
but alot you did pack in,
to the years in which we had you,
as a parent, brother and friend.
A husband who saw his wife,
with new eyes everyday,
and don't forget a grandfather,
with plenty of time to play.
If the love you gave could be bottled,
I feel you would insist,
There be no list of instructions,
just mix with care and devotion,
then spray gently in a mist.
So whatever part we had of Steven,
as we each shed a tear,
lets celebrate as we remember,
when each one of us had him near.
Trish xx
If you knew Steven just take a moment to light a candle and add your tribute to this true gentleman
just a hi from little sis
Hi Steven,
Just loads of miss you moments and finding the time to fit you in. Fortunately for us your never more than a breath from our thoughts. Eden is turning into a lovely little lady and Nanny is "doing her nails like Mummy's", I am remembering and caring enough for us both as your not here. keeping you up to date, will try to do so more often

One Year on
Hi Steven,
its a year ago today since you left us behaind for that better place with 24/7 fishing. Miss you terribly, we all do, what made it worse for me is that it is also my birthday today. Took some flowers down for your girls. Always seems strange going to the house that you put so much love into building. Well we are getting on the best we can without you, and you are never far from our thoughts. A special "tight lines" from us all.
Love you always
Trish, Tony and Amy
From you to Christine
Today is Christines birthday, her first in 26 years without you, shes away at the moment, don't blame her 'cos you're not here. its odd, because you were planning a special trip to mark this special birthday, we celebrated yours without you here. So i am imagining you on safari with all the gear, lol, and that smile on your face as you saw the lions and tigers, I can also see the stuffed giraffe that eden would have had as a pressie.
all my love as always Trishxxxx

first christmas without you
Well if the first one is the hardest, it certainly was for all the family. christmas eve for us was unbearable because thats when you dropped by for a while and we chatted and chatted. We will always remember that one wonderful christmas two years ago when we were all together, that was supposed to be your last here in Corby because you and Christine were moving to your beloved Scotland. You and Christine cooked up a storm and we laughed and laughed, we didn't care that dinner was 2 hours late, I know now thats why you pored the wine so freely we lost track of time. It was wonderful and we are glad for the memory, if thats what we have now I am glad I have them. Love from all of us here xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
miss you
Just needed to say not a good day, you were in my every thought today, can't explain why. No ryhme or reason to it just a miss you extra day xxxx
